Then and now: Between 1991 and 2001, I was a volunteer engineer at Baltimore's B&O Railroad Museum. First photo is one of the locomotives I operated. Western Maryland F7 #236 had been restored to operation and painted in its original "Fireball" paint scheme. It often ran with a single coach, former C&O #1700.  At times, especially in summer months, B&O RDC #9913 was also added to the consist for its  AC. Here's a typical operation in late winter 1993:

Now we turn to today. Now I still operate WM F7 #236, but the Lionel version. Here it is earlier today at the B&O Railroad Museum Holiday Festival of Trains, running on the National Capital Trackers layout:

The Lionel version has the newer Speedletter scheme. The museum has also repainted #236 into this scheme, but the locomotive does not operate regularly. It is on static display. Last year I was able to get this photo of both of the 236's I've operated.
