Lionel would have to get their 54" curves out there first!
Ben
How about not (for now, anyway).
I'd rather see some all-new locomotives that are more in keeping with the size of most folks layouts. An intermediate-sized steam engine such as Lima Berkshire, a steam switcher as a successor to the Gilbert 0-8-0, and a 'tweener' diesel such as an SD40-2 all would be welcomed. Modern and more right-sized,... how about a Genset?
Bob
Hi Bob,
Sign me up........... the SD40-2 would make an excellent presenting in S Scale! Many railroads could be offered.
Regard,
Frank
I concur. An SD40 would be great. Powered and Dummy sets in CP Rail please! Al
they are planning a bunch of new releases but it won't be happen overnight. the darn tools take say long to make.
Command switches and wide radius curves!!
Please
Gunny
LOL Swafford! Seriously though I’d like to see the still born SD40 they were going to offer several yrs ago. Or some 4 axle U boats with the correct pug nose. There are several different 50’ & 60’ high cube box cars they could offer too. Don’t forget the Railgon gondola, 70’s version and their latest version.
Good Day Greg,
Sure I’m serious. I’d like to see Lionel produce the DD35A someday. Now back to reality though, I’d like the Union Pacific Katy Heritage SD70ACe and the Union Pacific Western Pacific Heritage SD70ACe offered soon. There are several Florida East Coast SD70M-2 color schemes that would be a nice to see. More cab numbers for the BNSF, CSX, KCS and NS SD70ACe powered units would be welcomed too.
Thinking of the future, the GP30, GP40-2, SD40-2 would be fantastic and could be presented in many road names. S Scale has a bright future ahead!
Regards,
Frank
