I was at our independent book store earlier today and for obvious reasons I felt I had to buy this book.
From what I gather so far, it has absolutely to have nothing to do with trains, the title referring instead to "the third rail of politics" - in this case, corruption. Still, I expect to enjoy it. I also bought Black-Eyed Blond, a new Philip Marlowe novel, which from a brief look, seems to be really good.
