I turned it over to use pot to turn smoke off, and this was in front of me. Didn’t hear it. Smallest screw I’ve ever seen. It’s next to the smallest screwdriver I own. Anyone know what part of the engine it fell off?

Hard to say, look for an empty screw hole.
Probably a screw for the board heat sink, volume/smoke pot bracket, wire harness bracket. Could be a fuel tank screw (visible from bottom). Open it up and check.
All of the above, and possibly a screw from the smoke unit.
Looks like you might need a smaller screwdriver to put it back, lol!
I have never seen that screw in any of the mentioned items. Tank screws longer and bigger dia like smoke and volume pot. Possibly a screw to hold on a detail item, but the speaker can pick stuff up off the track too, so it may not even be from that engine. Doesn't even look like an MTH head on that screw. G
Thanks to everyone for your answers. I took the shell off, and could not see anything that looked like that little screw belonged to it, BUT, these ??? were both loose and fell out near the smoke unit, on the side closer to the boards. Can anyone point me to where they belong? One appears to be reflective silver, and the other is a foam rubber. The MTH link to the schematics no longer works.

They go between the smoke fan chamber and the smoke wick chamber, they're just clamped in by the PCB mount for the two pieces.
Thanks, John. Do they get replaced from the top down or bottom up? Not sure I understand how that would go.
If you take two of the screws out, either the two next to the fan or the two on the other end, you can separate the smoke unit components. Then you use your 3rd hand to hold those pieces in place, the silver one next to the smoke wick chamber, and replace the two screws to hold them in place.
Thanks again John. 3rd hand would be good for poker, too!

A couple of aces up your sleeve is normally all you need for poker!
So if they fell out and the screws are not loose, you need to see if the PCB is warped. If warped the fan housing tilts away from the element housing and you will not get a seal. Take the 2 screws out of the smoke fan housing so as not to disturb the element and wick, be careful not to damage housing gasket. It will be obvious how they go, with the insulator to the element housing to buffer heat, though not all units use it. G
