Thomas themed layout.

Hello everyone, haven't posted in awhile. I have a 2 yr old grandson who recently just moved back closer to me.
I have all the thomas cars & engines.
Ive been pondering building a low level 4x8 or 5x9 Thomas themed layout, kind've a whimsical type layout, maybe even considered a post war layout if you will. Has anyone out there in the train galaxy done one? And if so do you have pictures? Any constructive advice is welcome on any stages of layout. Thank you!
