The project is not completely done, but here are some photos of the Three Stooges beer cars I am making.I thought the graphics from the 1998 Panther Brewing Co.run of Three Stooges beer would look cool on an O scale refrigerator car.I hired a graphic artist to recreate the artwork in O scale and had decals made from that artwork.I made Lionel 1970s reefer car,O scale and O tinplate versions. This is the kind of  O scale product I would like to see mass produced,if Lionel,MTH or Weaver is reading this.

copyright issues aside: offering these to the forum would be great!  in fact contacting the brewing company for permission could make it actually profitable.

of course sharing the graphics with us for PERSONAL use would avoid an CR issues..

for something like this you might be surprised at how inexpensive or even free permissions can be attained.

beautiful work, it could be just as easily comfortable on trucks modern or vintage and billboards..  I really like this!

Having issues with the decal printing, plus it is unlicensed. When I have the decal printing issues corrected,I guess I could pass along a copy of them to a fellow Stooges fan.No profit mark up from me since it is unlicensed.I will update when the decals are done right.

After the incredible headache of the first decal maker I used,I have been wary to find another one.Family emergency and a busy schedule will push the completion of the project back until the first of the year at the earliest.I saved all of your e-mails to contact you when they are finally done.

Don't know who you used but Dave at LBR Enterprises made decals for me and I was thoroughly satisfied.

Maybe he can help you with your project.

I'd be interested in a set but I do "S" scale.

Mark

Thanks for the tip.I will look into LBR Enterprises making the decals for me.I will see if they can make the decals in S gauge too.The artwork was made so decals could be made in  HO to G scale.

Sincerely,

Dan

WHILE ATTENDING THE AMHERST RAILWAY SOCIETY SHOW AT THE BIG E THIS PAST JANUARY I SPOKE WITH THE GENTLEMAN AT THE RGS TRAINS BOOTH AND ASKED HIM IF THERE WOULD BE A FOLLOW UP CAR TO THE 3-STOOGES SUBMARINE CAR OFFERED THIS PAST YEAR AND HE SAID THAT HE WAS PRETTY SURE TWO ADDITIONAL CARS (ONE WITH SOUND) SHOULD BE OUT THIS FALL. HMMM, HOW ABOUT A CRANE CAR WITH SOUNDS OF MOE,LARRY, AND CURLY TRYING TO OPERATE THE CRANE?
