Below are some pictures of my first tin building scenic plot. This was made from some scrap masonite and a tin candle holder bought in Michaels after Christmas for around $8.00 The textures were downloaded from the internet and glued on after I painted the house yellow.
This one came out so good ( at least I think so) that I've started another. Oh and if anyone is interested the New Haven observation in the picture is for sale along with a similar coach.
I had a ratty old 300 series Observation car that I bought with a box of parts that will soon be a diner. The board is done with a sidwalk and a base for the Diner now I just have to complete the painting and get a few missing parts ( doors, etc). I'll try to post a picture of the current progress tomorrow when the paint dries. This Dinner will have a Royal blue roof and window frames A yellow stripe above the windows and a silver body, it should be reminiscent of the D&H or C&O paint schemes.
