Tinplate Caboose Interior Lighting | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Hi all! I'm looking for advice/tips on how to illuminate some 2600 series cabooses I have. Full disclosure I'm new to modern tinplate O-gauge. I'm in the process of converting my layout from modern O-scale as I think this will be a fun way for me and my kiddos to have more involvement with trains.

I realize that production has halted on modern tinplate so I'm curious to know if there is a resource to purchase 2600 series trucks with rollers for interior lighting? Any other method anyone has converted existing truck? Appreciate any feedback! Thank you, Eric

I have not tried to add lights to a tinplate caboose but I am sure someone else has. I can however share a couple pictures of one that I own
