Tiu for ho

Does anyone know if ho uses the same tiu as my o gauge tiu?

As far as I know, it does. I haven't heard of a special TIU for HO only, unless someone else can add any additional information.

The TIU is for DCS operation. If you want to run DCS with your HO trains, I suspect the TIU will do it. FWIW, MTH announced a "new" TIU that will output variable DC voltage on all channels, that one would probably be useful. Of course, who's to know if that "new" TIU will ever see the light of day.
