I have been trying to find a tiu to aiu or aiu to aiu cable. Seems they are very allusive. I looked on line and couldn't find one. Tried Microcenter, the local computer store and they didn't have one. Emailed Mike's trains and he said they are sold with the units and go to a computer store for one. Anyone here have a solid contact for purchasing one? Thanks, 54dodge.

The eBay seller from Brooklyn I referred to is still around. Search eBay "RJ12 reverse phone cable" - less than $4 shipped for a 7 footer.

As Stan mentioned, eBay has them. I just found a bunch on Amazon. Fry's, Monoprice, etc....
Do a google search for "RJ12 Reverse Phone Cable"
Thanks to all of you who replied. I found one on ebay for $3.+ and free shipping. I've been looking for and calling them the wrong thing. Looking the cable up as you guys described, found it right away. I'm new to the O gauge trains, started a few christmases back for my grandson and he is now 7 and really enjoys setting up the track. I started with a cheap Lionel starter set and quickly found and went to MTH. Donated the Lionel to the grandkids for their tree. Grandson and I are now planning on a permanent setup in the basement after Christmas. Went overboard and purchase the whole DCS system except an AIU, ran out of $$. Found used AIU at the local train show in Cincinnati this fall but it didn't have a cable. I'm hoping it works for $35. This site and you guys will be a great resource as I start building. Thanks again.
Excellent! Glad you found one. Enjoy the trains with your Grandson, and Merry Christmas!
