I don't own this car and I have not looked at it!!

Looking at the pic, it appears to be a close-up of the outrigger assembly probably out of the car??It says bottom orientation. It just appears to be the side view of the outrigger??

They're trying to show the tabs that need adjustment.

One thing I've heard about the outriggers is that they need higher voltage to deploy properly. Are you running at full command voltage? Are your outriggers sticking and not deploying? If so, Bend tabs slightly towards the bottom to loosen.

34, you don't explain the problem you are having. Are the outriggers not deploying or are they not staying retracted? Is the problem with all, ends, and/or center ones. The problem I had is with one or two end outriggers no deploying. What I found is that the grab/step irons were pushed into the base too deep and catching/preventing the outriggers from popping out.

You are looking at the Crane car's center outrigger assembly which is on the bottom of the car. BTW, this is a view of the assembly with the cover taken OFF; you can see the cover in the picture on page 11 and it is only held on by a few screws. The tabs referred to are small plastic catches inside the assembly that you need to access through the slots on each side of it in order to change the pressure they apply to the outriggers to keep them in place when retracted. The problem I had was that the outriggers would not stay in position when pushed back in after triggering them to deploy through a CAB-1 command. They needed to be adjusted to increase the pressure to hold one side in place. Unfortunately it is very hard to see the tabs and very easy to snap them. I ended up repacing the whole assembly.
