The Train Room in Pt Pleasant has the widest O selection in the area. The Hobby Shop in Aberdeen has the biggest MTH selection in NJ. Hobbymasters in Red Bank has a great service dept. and nice guys.

45 minutes away is the legendary The Model Railroad Shop in Piscataway. It is the store I compare all others to. Multiple scales, great selection of supplies, books and magazines.

There is a club in Lakewood and the incredible Patterson club is an hour away.

Dave - The Ocean County Society of Model Railroaders in Lakewood, NJ get together on Tuesday and Friday evenings starting about 7 pm.  Stop by.  We're located on the northbound of side of route 9 between 2nd and 3rd Streets in the tudor building next to the  white church.  Check our website.  Fort Monmouth is about 30 miles north of us.  Best way to come is down route 18 south to route I-195 east onto route 9 south.  We're about 4 miles south of route I-195.

 

 

 

 

Were you at Ft. Monmouth?  I thought I heard it was closed.  Did my Signal Corps Officer school there way back more years ago than I care to remember.
