There are a few that you can go to. Their is THE TRAIN SHOP in Lemoyne across the river take Lemoyne exit and go south to 9th street make a left half a block and you're there. Also the store I go to is BARRYs Train SHOP in Elizabethtown, Pa. Get on 81 south to 283 east its about 15 minutes on 283 ,first E town exit go right, follow that downtown to High street he is right on the corner. MIKE and GERMINE will be there during the week. Sometime BARRY is there too if he's not out buying trains.
Laz57's suggestions are excellent. You might also check out The Station in Palmyra (east on 422; check their hours), Maxwell's Trains on Derry Street (again, check hours before going), and Cool Trains in Salunga, PA (east on 283).
@laz1957 - pretty sure there isn't any train store in Lemoyne. I think you mean The Station on 9th St. in New Cumberland. Easy to get confused on where Lemoyne stops and New Cumberland starts.
if you have the time, weaver models is 1 1/2-2 hours north of harrisburg just up rte 11/15 in northumberland pa. you can walk in the door and they will give you a tour.
