3rd time? Once was enough for me!
I'll be there. This will be my 5th go round. It is always a nice time.
I try to take public transit from NYC and it is always an adventure. So far I have taken the NJ Transit bus from 42nd St Port Authority and the NJ Transit train from Penn Station via Sec. Jct. and most recently the so called "Spanish" Bus from GWB Port Authority. It is quite a walk from the last bus stop or really any stop. The worst times are the Snowy ones.
Vinny thank you for the amazing food spread it really is wonderful and you are much appreciated.
It really is a very nice club I wish there was an easier way to reach it without a car.
6 of us from Stillmeadow Crossing will be there.
Bob
All you first timers - remember to bring the beer!
Peter - best of luck with your surgery!

Erol, If I come I will have my NJ HiRailers shirt on. I do not kick football friends when they are down. As you know, all the NY teams are down. I have two Club seats for the Pats game. Those can equal several Premier locomotives. If I had to pick the Pats game over my New York/Jersey friends, it will be a visit with my friends that will win out.
Hey Ben, what's the street address in Patterson? After I pass the Clinton Station Diner, I'll be shooting up 287. Going to pass up the chow line at the CSD in favor of Vinn's superior cuisine.

Not true, the Rangers are doing well, the Giants had a successful season as compared to last year, and the Mets made the playoffs this past season. Definitely wouldn't say those teams are "down".

Jim, if you're coming north on 287 I would suggest the following.
About 25-30 miles after you get on 287 north from I-78 you'll come to a split for routes 287 and 208. take 208 south towards Franklin Lakes.
About 10-15 minutes, take the Maple Ave. exit, sign says Paterson/Hawthorne. Right at the stop sign at bottom of ramp.
Follow winding road to the end, take a left at that light. (I believe that's Lincoln Ave,)
Go straight on this road, thru a light, over a bridge over the Passaic River, at which point the road bears to the right.
That's River Street. Take that about a mile and take a right on 6th Ave. Vacant lot on that corner. Big 4-story building next to it is the Club's. 185 Sixth Ave.
E-mail me if you have any questions on this. Hope that helps.

Since we're talking about knee operations, I think your wife is onto something.
If we're talking about something else, it sounds like you have a personal problem.
Mike....many thanks!! Appreciate your help. Jim

I can't believe I forgot to reply to this! Lynley and I will be there for our ninth Trainstock event. Also three of my trainiac cousins will be attending.
As always, thank you sincerely for the invitation!

We've been working on improving the webcams and we now have a new High Zoom HD camera up and running (camera 5). In the near future we will be replacing all the cameras with this HD model.
Trainstock Baseball Caps are for sale - $16.00 and Calendars are available for $10.00 if you pick up and $12.00 if shipped. Calendar proceeds for this year to to the Make a Wish Foundation.
My son and i will be there.

Sorry for late notice but please count me and a buddy for two more. Thanks!

10 until ????? As a practical matter it begins to thin out around 3-4. You should stop by if possible, Nothing like a couple of hundred train geeks in the same room! Not to mention Chef Vinnie's superb spread.
Ben,
Can you run mth scale wheels engines, your track is atlas flat rail but what about the switches. I have some mth 3/2 diesels that need to run, can someone there help me put on the 3 rail pickup's if I can run them.
My count went up, looking at 3-4 now.

We dont have Atlas track 90% is Gargraves/Ross The only Atlas is on the subways Never tried the 3/2 diesels with scale wheels There is always a first time though
WOW, the new HD webcam is terrific. Details are great, almost, not quite, like being there.
Phil, when people in my neck of the woods think of New York teams, we think Giants, JETS, and Yankees. No disrespect intended towards the other noted teams.
Ben, final plans here they are. I will be driving down with Chris Lonero. One of our cats is not well and Dotty will be home for him.
We look forward to seeing all the great people on Saturday.
I think i might have to stop by this year !!!

Oh oh... 2 NE Pats fans together in the same room with a NY Jets fan. Those 2 will see how dominating the JETS are! LOL! I will see my NE buddies there!
This will be my 1st Trainstock as a retiree. Last one was on a Saturday in 2016. Nabisco made me quite happy the following Wednesday on a conference call. Yippeecayeah!

It certainly sounds disrespectful through the internet. People in my neck of the woods do not consider a team "down" that has a winning record.
Marty has never been disrespectful. He qualified his comment very well. I am certain he had no desire to offend your delicate sensitivities.
