Tried today to take advantage of the cybersale at Trainworld. I wanted to purchase a passenger car that qualified (so I thought) for the 10 dollars off a purchase of 100 dollars. Problem came up when the passenger car was listed as a new arrival. I already have the car I tried to order but wanted a second one. I even went so far as to create an account(for nothing). When I was unsuccessful trying to buy on line I called and tried to buy from a nice lady order taker. I was unsuccessful there as well as she told me it was a new arrival and didnt qualify for the 10 dollars off. So I asked her how long does it take an item to not be a "new arrival" anymore? Her reply was about 3 months. Well.........I have had mine since 6/27/23 (exactly 5 months). Not bashing as I will buy from someone else other than trainworld and move on but am wondering if anyone else has run across this in the past?
