Actually, several of the large dealers have had -- or are in the midst of having -- 10-20 per cent discount sales right now (i.e., below their normally discounted prices). [And that's in addition to a few places having unexpected sales due to store-closings.] Most of the established dealers have had them running 2-4 weeks... Others have only had them for one weekend. But it seems that summer tends to be a slow period for buying trains (no surprise there), and dealers are loaded with excess inventory worth more stuff due in a few months. Hence, the nice sales! Great time to snag some terrific bargains.
Thanks for sharing the info about Trainworld... 'cause I hadn't heard about their sale!!! 
OTOH, my wallet may not be thanking you later.

Go to the Trainland website and sign up for their emails. The coupon offers, blowout sales and other promotions come regularily and you can get other scales as well if you choose.
