DennisB, thanks for the list.  There's a flatiron-like building in Andover, Mass. at the intersection of Poor and Main Sts. just off RT. 495.  Enter Merimack Insurance (I think) in google satelite view to see it.  It's more of a V with a roof done in a very classic Federal style.  It, too, would make a cool space saving model for someone with Andre's skill.

And the Garage in front is gorgeous.

I visited Andover MA several times, years ago, very nice town.

The Flat Iron Building is already available.

Yes, Andre, that would be Woodworth Motors. An amazing 1920?? Cadillac showroom and garage next door, both on the National Historical Register, I'm sure. The town of Andover has several classic New England buildings and homes.

I just visited your website and saw the photos of your completed flatiron building.  The carved detail on the coffee shop window frame is amazing. (Is that part of the kit?)  Also the distressed paint and chipped bricks are great touches.

For this style of building, I was struck by how you could "dress the model up or down" based on additions, signage, etc.  For example, your wooden water tank on the roof seems to place it in a less urban or small town street setting, while an entirely different roof detail might place it in a big city.  A very adaptable style and footprint and a very impressive model.

Tom,

Thank you for the nice comments.

The kit include everything but, fire escape, water tower and electric meters. The 'Flat Tire" sign is include and can be custom to a single name for no extra charge.

Our bricks are not straight lines, they are distressed and chipped brick shape to add realism, and the mortar wasn't apply evenly for the same reason.

As a modeler too, our idea of a model was to make something versatile, easy to adapt to many periods or places. Easy to put together and decorate.

All the signage are in our website for print.

thank you again

Andre.
