I have a DCS controller that is probably 10 yrs old. When I put my steam engines ( proto 2 ) on the track the controller does not recognize them even though I added them previously. I can add them to roster and run them but once I stop the session I must add again. Diesel engines have no problem. One of is the 3V version (Big Boy) and the other is the 9V version and is newer. The battery is the 3V run all the way down after 2 months of non use but I recharged. Do I have a bad controller or do batteries need to be changed? Info shows batteries OK. Changed batteries in controller.
