Refresh my feeble memory. A few years ago, either MTH or Lionel made a plastic ramp-like device to guide rolling stock onto O gauge track Does anyone remember the product name, who made it and where I can find one for sale?
The product is generally called a "re-railer." Maybe that will help you in a search. Beyond that, you're on your own.
Marx made one, brown plastic, back in the 50's. Came in the accessory set that included telegraph poles, non-illuminated crossing signal, gate, and street lights. Looked like a grade crossing.
I have read before that some people have called it a "rerailer" and this is absolutely wrong. The only correct term to call it is a "railer". A rerailer has long been available for HO track that can help return those small wheels back on the track while the train is running around with a derailment. But three rail trains short out when there is a derailment and it is not possible to continue running. In 2004 Lionel began offering the railer along with its FasTrack system and it works equally well with any track system. I have one and it works fine, but I do not use it very often.
