TTOS Tristate Division

Can someone tell me about a TTOS Tristate Division car-it was from 1979 and was a Lionel 9149 CP flatcar with two trailers, each with some TTOS Tristate printing. How many were made and was it an "official" TTOS car? I also have seen a similar Burlington Northern flat car with green trailers with some TriState printing on the trailer sides.
