How to wire whisker tracks?

I wire all of mine with a on-off toggle switch.

wiring is same as rest of layout. Put a common wire on the outside rail of each track and run a wire from the center rail through a toggle switch to the main power drop.

I installed a rotary switch in the facia of my layout to select the whisker track to energize. A toggle turns power on/off to all whiskers and another turns on/off power to the bridge track:
