I have a fire station kit I bought from a forum member.
Can someone tell me how to paint the brick mortar and then the brick. This is a first try at something like this for me and I don't want to mess it up.

I have not attempted it yet but you can just paint white onto the whole side of the building and then take a rag and wipe it off the bricks while it is still really wet but it will stay in the mortar lines.
paint whatever brick color you want then use Roberts brick mortar. you will see a current thread on the use of robert's near the top of the list in this forum

Jim hit the nail right on the head, this is the same way me and most guys do this
