Does anyone know what's going on with the Lionel replacement parts website?  I tried to place an order a few weeks ago that seemed to go through, although I never received an email confirming the order. 

I submitted the order again yesterday and it seemed to be submitted correctly and an order ID was displayed on the final screen, but again no email confirmation.

I just tried calling Lionel support (at about 2pm EST this Friday), but received a message that I have called them outside their normal working hours which are Monday through Friday from 9-5pm EST.  (huh?)

 I'm trying my best to give Lionel my business and money, but they just don't seem to want to take it.

I've noticed this too over the period just before and after the holidays and put it down to the usual seasonal rush. Also the email order confirmations used to be very reliable but over the last few months have simply stopped coming through although my orders themselves turn up same as ever.

However if you are bothered by a particular order I'd (a) check whether your card has been charged for it or not because if it has the order has definitely been processed and (b) try sending Lionel an email (they always answer the "Talk To Us" inquiries in reasonably short order). 

I was getting the same message about there buisness hours during normal buisness hours, I thought they might closed for the holiday week, I tried at least 4 times.  I called a hobby shop were I bought a legacy controller that I needed warranty work done and they said Lionel was real busy.  I finally got through and got an RGA today.
