Just wonder how many use uncoupler track sections and what you use.

I still have 2 pieces MTH Rail Trax uncoupler track sections on my layout. They worked well when I had a need. With the electronic couplers and K-line RC dump cars and the like I no longer use the uncoupler tracks.
I use mine to uncouple on the yard tracks and to run accessories.
I have a Fastrack layout and use uncoupling sections on both of my mainlines. They are used for operating coal and log dump cars as well as uncoupling.
any comparison to gargraves verse lionel(non fast track) uncoupler sections. In terms of magnetic power. I have all gargraves track and was looking at just getting their uncoupler or should i search for old lionel magnet cut them out and put them into gargraves track, as per Jim Barrett's backshop
The reason for my inquiry is that I plan on running conventional and tmcc/legacy on the same layout
Rather than cut up a Lionel section, you might want to try using a #37 "Super O" uncoupling section. They are a 1.75" long, and fit in nicely with GG track.
