I have bought a Lionel Tender that has no ID number. It looks like the 6466W tender, however it has Bar End trucks. The info I got this tender had staple end trucks. So I don't think it a 6466W Tender. I bought it for my 675 K-4 Pacific engine. Here is a picture of it with the engine. Does anyone have a clue what it is.

The trucks were changed out is all.
Hi, Chuck,
What does this to collect ably?
Nothing. The tender without any lettering has no collector value. It is worth 40.~50. for the operating whistle.
Hi Chuck, The tender is marked Lionel Lines, you just can't see it in the picture. I think the paint has come off for some reason.

It's probably started out as a 2466WX or a 6466WX but there should be a number stamped in white on the underframe.

Hi Bill, There is no number stamped on the bottom. That's why I said it was identified Tender.
Its a mutt. As Bill says the shell is likely a 6466WX given the railing around the water deck. Frame may have been repainted or replaced with a later frame and trucks. Decals and stamps can be had if you wanted to restore it.

Hi Norton, I think your right. Looking at how the shell fits the frame, it don't look just right. It seats a little crooked on the frame. Didn't notice that when I bought it a few years ago.

Often the standoffs that the tender frame sit on are busted. Once they’re broken, the tender frame can sink or sag further into the shell,…..
