Does anyone know the manufacturer/company that made this crossing signal?  I bought it in NYC about 15 years ago at a small basement train shop - (forgot the name of the store).  I've had it sitting on a shelf and never could find out who made it.  I do know it was made in China.  The bottom has an opening for I think "batteries" although I'm not sure because the little door doesn't open all the way and I didn't want to force it.  I tried it out on an insulated track and it works flawlessly.  It's about 6 inches tall.

Just curious!

So this was made for battery operation plus with an insulated track without batteries?

Thanx guys - it's either Life Like or Model Power - it is definitely G scale - I just can't figure out how the battery cover opens - the latch unhooks fine but the opposite side seems to be attached - oh well - now I know more than I did before!!

Luke, if you find yours and it has a box with some identification on it let me know -

thanx again
