hi Guys,

I received my Union Pacific 2015 Calendar recently.  Its fantastic as usual, with the UP 4014 Big Boy on the cover.  I was not able to scan the entire picture, but you can get the feel of it in the first scan.  The second picture is where it hangs in my train room.

So in honor of the UP, I put all of my UP rolling stock and engines on the layout.  The engines include two pairs of the 2023 UP Alcos (and an extra Dummy) from 1950. I was able to restore them to be fully operational using parts from the Train Tender (Jeff provides fantastic service, I order parts on the Saturday before Christmas and they arrived Christmas Eve, all the way out here in Tacoma!).  Also included are two Lionel Conventional Classics sets: the Work Train with the Switcher and the 1950 Anniversary Set with the Alcos. There is a Lionel steam engine that I got a number of years ago heading some nicely Lionel detailed passenger cars.  Topping it all off is the Lionel Legacy SD70ACe #8444 engine.

I hope you enjoy this UP Theme!

thanks everyone for your comments!

Ray Zack,  That's the complete cover picture!   Thanks so much for finding it.  When the calendar comes in the mail, its in a black plastic envelope, looks like something that should not be opened in an open office environment, or at home if your wife is around.  When I show it to my friends at work, they have no idea that such a huge engine exists.   The oil man on the cover gives the perspective of just how big this engine is.
