I ordered the new 1.1 version universal remote for I needed another remote for my LC+ locomotives. There is a small red circle sticker on the outside of the box where it lists the features. When I opened the package the same small red circle sticker was on the back of the unit. This was to show its is an 1.1 software unit. I also noticed the center position on the control has a stronger "click" for top center then my original unit. My older LC+ locomotives - my three E33 rectifiers all ran just fine under 1.0 and I noticed no difference with 1.1 on them older units. I did receive also this week a locomotive made this year 2017. This unit responded much better to the 1.1 software overall - with great lower speed improvement. My only complaint is minor - I would like a controller in appearance more like the Legacy remote - same colors - grey/ black and a red dial on the bottom of the unit. If not another model then offer the universal remote in other colors - grey, dark blue, black -- it would be a tad better then buck hunter blaze orange. All in all the universal remote software revision 1.1 is a must have if you have LC+ trains of more then one. With the LC+ value and ease of operation I think your LC+ fleet will be growing.
