Greetings!

Does anyone have a solution that will stop unwanted uncoupling of the older Lionel postwar coil couplers over modern switches such as Gargraves and Ross Custom? It is my custom to run conventional postwar equipment during the holiday season and my 681 turbine is a problem.

Thanks,

John T.

I don't have many of these couplers on my equipment, but what I have done is used some silicone (not a glob), slipped under the perimeter of the shoe. Hold the shoe up against the plate with a weight or masking tape, etc., overnight.

This is invisible, essentially, and reversible without damage.
