Hello again everyone!

It has been about a month since I last posted my first couple of pictures on the progress of my small 5x9 layout, and since then I have hit the end of another stage that I'd like to share with you all!

I have just finished blocking out all of the mountains and terrain on the layout and everything is pretty much ready for plaster cloth! Now I just need to tape off the small amounts of track that I will be leaving on the layout during the plaster phase and remove a lot of the track on the inclines where most of my plaster work on the mountains will take place.

Mark, you are correct. I have a nice stock of plaster cloth by woodland scenics that I will be applying in the coming days.

I thought about simply using foam and making my landforms that way, but I liked the ability to easily mold my landforms by just manipulating some paper.

I also have 4 different rock molds that I will be applying after all of the plaster cloth is made to add some realism.

Thank you all so much for your compliments! This is why I love this hobby. Everyone is always so helpful and encouraging. It is really something special!
