About a week ago Hyce put out a new video in which he was at Altoona visiting the restoration of 1361. This is an interesting video, and tour if you will of what has been going on with 1361. It is good to see a bit more of it from some of the other posts and videos plus to the tender almost in running condition. A lot of information about 1361 and the Pennsy is thrown at you rather quickly in some parts, others seem to be unanswered at this time.

Yeah, a lot of that(like a kid in a candy store). I really like the information that the staff was providing about 1361 as well as what was said about the Pennsylvania Railroad itself. Even though I was watching, I had my eyes focused more on the engine's parts, frame, and tender. I'm just curious if he does know what he's talking about. He seems to know a bit, but from my point of view, that really isn't saying if he does. I'll leave that to the people that can take me to school and I only get a grasp of what it is all about.

Hyce does know quite a bit about steam in general, but his thing is Colorado narrow gauge so I don't think he knows as much about the Pennsylvania RR specifics.  He is, however, very involved with the operations at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden and their steam operations.

His audience doesn't necessarily have the same knowledge so in the short videos like this, it tends to be a bit more basic information.

There haven't been any recently, but he's had a series of live streams where he is a bit more subdued that are documenting the engineering/design work on a possible new build recreation of Denver and Rio Grande's first steam locomotive. The hand waving/excitability is more of presenter/public personality mode.
