using the record feature

when running in the recording mode if I want to stop it I go to advance and get to recordings and do stop playing and it tells me on the remote screen playback is stoped but the engine just keeps doing the recording. either I have to wait it out or kill the power to the track to stop it. what is wrong.

Nothing's wrong. Just because you stopped recording, doesn't make the engine stop moving.

Same thing on play back.
