would the ORG staff consider adding a video only section or thread? this way videos can be posted in one convenient spot. it could have real and non-real trains.

We already have this feature!
Look in the Blue Tool Bar at the top. Check the item marked "Video Clips."

Kool. so let me ask if a video is posted in the threads it shows up there?
It shows up there only if it is posted there.
Why would the forum automatically pull a video out of context from another thread? Many times the video is posted to answer a question or to supplement a how-to post.
If I just want to view videos, I prefer to surf YouTube where most of the forum videos are anyway.

I like this idea too. I went to the video clips and it has a 100MB limit. It would ease your servers some too if we could embed YouTube videos like we can in forum posts but the video clips will only let me upload a video. I usually upload straight to YouTube from my phone so my video never hits my computers hard drive.
