Very nice video of a wonderful layout! May be the first video I have seen of the UP coal turbine running. I do not think most layouts can handle it's massive size but yours certainly does it justice.
Thanks for posting and happy railroading,
Don
Hi Alex
Very nice video and the layout looks great as always, it's very enjoyable to see threads like this. I wish you would post videos more often, say hello to Judy.
Thanks, Alex
That was fun!!!
Great Video Alex, Willy was right . That sure was fun to watch!
Don, Alex, Willy, and Mike
Thank you!
For quite a while I have wanted to make a video with this UP Coal Turbine locomotive as the subject, but since in real only the prototype ever existed, I wasn't sure if there would be any interest. So I thought of a fictitious plot: the vintage Turbine loco rescuing a modern coal train (what a stretch!), and proceeded with the video. I think it turned out fine.
And yes, I plan to make more videos in the coming weeks.
Thanks again,
Alex
U.P. saved the day!
Great video Alex, Love to see more!
How coool to see that big monster in action. As usual, your layout is stunning.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow with your family. From the treats you offer to visitors, your wife is an excellent cook.
Very nice, Alex.
Thanks again, guys!

I like you had the Older BNSF unit the lead with the ES44 trailing, although as a BNSF homey, watching UP from the other side of the river help out, made me chortle but I really enjoyed the video, my layout looks to be half the size of yours, so my motive power is restricted to 048 curves.
I run the larger engines at our club during my run days. Thanks, Ron
I must of watched your VL Challenger video a 100 times alone...
Then you posted the BB video...
Now the UP Turbine...I love your work! Anytime you want to post more of this monster, I'll gladly watch!
Nice video, great layout.

I really appreciate that! As I said, I'll be making another video shortly, and hope you enjoy it as well.
Ron, my dual main consists of Ø108" and Ø99" curves, so I am fortunate in that I can run just about anything, and they still look half-way decent.
Doug, Pete, et al. - - Thank you for you comments!
