Update of my Hidden Pass Junction Railroad layout.

(PLEASE, see post below, by Alex Malliae, with the actual video link.)

And thank you for watching!

OK, let's try this one more time. If it works, there will be two links to the video; this one, and the one on the following post.

Alex (& Alex):

Thanks to Alex M. For helping post this awesome video. Alex I, what a fabulous job you have done! The scenery is tremendous, and the layout operation appears flawless! Top marks! Love the oil storage area; all that's missing (if i may be so bold) is the Miller Engineering Sunoco billboard!

I really enjoyed the video, makes me want to strive a little more to get my scenery better laid out!

Best regards and kudos,

Bruce

Brian,

Yes, many times two Alex's working together provide better results.

Rick,

I wondered how that was going to turn out; that is, the locomotive approaching the turntable while the crane operated in the background. Then I tried the freight train going around the track surrounding the turntable area while a locomotive was taking a ride on the turntable. Both worked out fine.

Thanks!

Alex

Frank, Don -

Thank you for your nice comments!

And Oh, Yes! The 'Woodsman' or carpenter. This diorama used to grace Frank's layout and when he listed it in the For Sale forum weeks ago, I bought it. I had an unfinished area that I thought was perfectly suited for it, and it worked out well. Thank you, Frank.

I changed the arrangement a bit, was able to use most of the base and drove the truck to a new dirt road:

Thank you, Alex!

I also watched the video several times, as you can imagine, during editing and before uploading to YouTube.

And then, since I posted it, I have watched it three times, and I keep spotting details that I had intended to do just a little differently.

So I tell myself, "The next video will be better..."

Thx!

Alex
