And you still cannot order parts. I called customer service because I already lost the o ring for the switch cover. They said parts would be available in about 4 weeks and to call back. I bet a lot of people will be needing those o rings. Once they pop off good luck finding it.
Despite missing the o ring, the blow down works fine and I do not see any smoke leaking from the top.
No smoke unit parts breakdown Either.. I want gaskets and screws

Interesting though. This is a really elaborate model and I haven't seen Lionel parts illustrations that contain things like wiring connections (see below). I wish they still released the old type of line drawings and wiring diagrams; if those exist I imagine they are only available to service technicians.
