I bought several of these kits on Ebay and I noticed that the bar at the end of the car side that is supposed to go into a slot on end piece is longer than the slot. Do I need to cut off the bottom of the bar to make it fit properly or am I missing something?

This might be that point in time where (1) looking at the instructions after retrieving them from the trash can might become important and/or (2) finding pictures of the prototype might become useful.
Than again, you could just "wing it"....
Thanks for attempt at humor BUT (1) I looked at the instructions, both pages, and all they say is insert the side into the end (2) prototype pictures don't show the inside of a plastic kit and how the things fit together.
I was asking anyone that had built the kit did they have to cut the pin/long bar on the side of the car if they had to shorten/cut the bar.
I actually have built the kit, but the car is long gone.....and I don't recall this problem at all.
Maybe posting pictures of the dilemma would assist others in rendering you aid?
