I may have an extra Donner (is it the dining car?). All the Christmas trains are boxed up and stored right now, so I'd have to check to be sure.
Yes, I think it's the dinner car. Remember that because I thought it was more than coincidence when I saw it on the Lionel site- dinner/donner
I'm 99% sure the diner is the one that I bought not knowing my wife had also picked one up for me. Assuming I'm correct, I'd sell it for what I paid for it ($40) + shipping

I went through three boxes of Christmas trains and unfortunately couldn't find the second Donner car. It may still be another "non-Christmas" box, but it may be a while before I can go through them (right now all my trains are boxed up waiting for me to get around to building a layout). If you get another offer, go ahead and take it.
