Was the date incorrect....or USPS?

Just a day or two ago my son shows me a card advertising a train show at the Westminster Agricultural Center, in Westminster Maryland. I don't know if the post office is slow, but we received the card December 8th, or 9th, yet the date on the card advertises the show on NOVEMBER 20th?
Does anyone know if the date is a misprint? Or a case of da snail mail?
