Watching videos on youtube I noticed a theater on someones layout.

It may be the OGR Ameritowne building.

That theater was made by model power it goes for alot of cash. They go for about 200 hundred bucks on ebay..

Despite all the "helpful advice" about the OGR Ameritowne theater, it is pretty clear from the video it is a Walthers Cornerstone Palace Theater. Here is a link to a finished auction on ebay where you can see a picture palace theater.

Unfortunately, Walthers is no longer making the Cornerstone Palace Theater for O scale. They don't think there is a market, but looking at the finished auctions on eBay, they are going for over $300.

Too bad, I'd like to have one if they started making them again. If you look at layout articles in issues of the O scale train mags, either OGR or CTT, quite a few of the layouts include a Palace Theater.

For around one quarter of the price, the OGR Ameritowne Theater with the Miller Engineering Marquee (various links in previous posts) may be a more viable option if you want a theater on your layout.
