Is the GP30 with the new sound system actually available? Just had a look on eBay and none are listed.

According to the Bachmann website, the GP-30's have arrived and are being shipped to local hobby stores.
Most likely none made it to the evilbay yet.

I just checked the Bachmann website and couldn't find any info. Where did you see it?

They are at Bachmann this very day. You can be quite sure they have not made it into the distribution pipeline yet. The folks at WBB do some spot-testing to make sure all is up to snuff before they let the stuff go.
