Thank you for your nice comments. I'm working on my last pair of AMS box cars. I also upgrade them by changing their Kadee 803 couplers to San Juan Evolution couplers. These look and work better than the 803's IMO.

 

For a change, I going to begin working on structures. Woodland Scenic has some new O-scale building kits I really like that are perfect for the period I want to create. I have some of their older kits (still in their boxes) that will give me a start on downtown Crystal Springs, Colorado (a prosperous resort/town around 1940).

Looking great.  I want to start weathering my freight cars soon.  Can you explain your process
