Weathering ideas for a PSC x29 | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I have a psc x29 that I am painting for the cp spans the world scheme. I wanted to show rust and wear on the roof. So after prepping, I airbrushed the rivet seams with floquil rust. Between those areas I sprayed a splotch of custom mixed colors that seem to look like galvanized steel. I also painted the roofwalk in a tie brown color; this will be weathered later.

next I painted the sides and ends with Tru-color cn brown. Tomorrow I will airbrush the roof sections with the cn brown at low pressure. After drying I will weather and decal. Enjoy

After some airbrush issues, I finished the paint. I will be deftly melding rust in to soften the exposed steel
