Happy Friday Everybody! It is time once again for Weekend at the Movies! I will kick it off with a video I took at the Bergen County Model Railroad Club's home layout in Hillsdale, NJ featuring forum member TAG18's Union Pacific Coal Drag!!!
Detroit & Mackinac Railway •I posted this video on You Tube last week, Take a tour of my train room and ride the rails on the Detroit & Mackinac Railway.
I hope to be posting a movie later this weekend, but wanted to take the opportunity to ask those who regularly use this thread if they have suggestions for video editing programs. I've tried Windows Movie Maker, but it does not like the video format of one of my newest cameras. Do any of you have suggestions for a good program?

Thanks for any suggestions."
start over and get a mac.
On Windows, give a try to Corel Videostudio Pro...lots of feature and fairly easy to use and the result are excellent. Cost is barely $40.-, need a fairly powerful PC to run it properly.
You can download a free 30 days trial to get an idea, and the trial has no limitation. (not like some other programs who limit you to lots of their feature)
Now for some overseas video
A terrific British outdoor layout in 0 (2 rails)
And some real steam from Switzerland featuring the German Class 01
trg and FJ, really enjoyed both videos. I seldom watch videos over 1 minute or so, but both were very well produced and interesting.
Thanks for taking the time to film, edit, and produce them. The audio on FJ's video was excellent.

Hi Bill! I use HD Writer AE 2.0. It is a program that came with my camera (a Panasonic) and is very easy to use. I'm not sure if they make iMovie for Windows computers but that is a good program as well. Hope this helps!
To Jeff: We all need a break form Model Railroading. Just last week, we had a thread about ORG Members and music and I stated i play a trumpet and piano in a community band.
Let's Take a Break & Enjoy the Number One Jazz Video on You Tube for 2014.
I finally found the time to convert the last Lionel scale auto racks to Kadee couplers. They still need some detailing and weathering, but here's a run by:
Thanks to those who suggested video programs. Yes, I agree, I-Movie is great....perhaps I should start over. But, in the meantime, tonight I tried out my newly-upgraded K-Line TCA Semi-scale Daylight. Thanks to Gunrunner John for a great job improving smoke, chuff with his super chuffer, cruise control, etc. It can't really stretch its legs on my small home layout, but I can't wait to see it in action later this month on a bigger MD O-Gaugers pike and also in March at the National Capital Trackers Marine Corps Museum show.
I have been listening to some jazz music lately ( I have no idea where that has come from ) and I really enjoyed the video

As a side bar to Model Railroading, I must say thank-you. The tune, "All About that Bass". Was the number one hit for pop & jazz in 2014. It is on it's way to being one of the top tunes for 2015. Some musicians feel it could be the number one hit for 2015 in, Country, Jazz & pop for 2015, Time will tell. I have set a goal for the OGR Forum, I want all the members to hear this tune.
