I hate to be picky, but milk trains were considered passenger trains and did not have cabooses.  The combine at the end is correct.
I used this picture and a video from the NYO&WHS as reference... I thought it was an interesting setup, I just remembered seeing the grouping and was excited to have my favorite engine rolling again.

The picture comes from Robert E. Mohowski's book NYO&W Milk Cans, Mixed Trains, and Motor Cars.

I did flip through the book and find that in 99% of instances, you are indeed correct! Thanks for pointing it out. As I'm shooting for a prototypical layout, running the trains correctly helps too. ��

Here are some of my Lionel Trains from the 1970's. I bought everything new and now at 40+ years of age they still run like when I bought them. I bought everything at Town House TV and Appliance. RIP Mike Moore

 

I have all the new stuff with DCS and Legacy but I'll never be so sophisticated that I can't enjoy just running trains.

 

This video was shot with my new iPhone 6.
