Details being added to the Rio Grande switching layout. A lot more to complete, but things are progressing.

Brian,
Can you please tell me where you got the Amtrak AEM 7 picture from?
Joe B:
Google makes it pretty easy these days to find the source of many pictures:
- Open the page in a Chrome browser
- Right click on the image you want to know more about
- Choose the "Search Google for image" option.
- Google will bring you either to the source of the image or to a grouping of similar images.
In this case, I followed the first link returned and learned that this photo is by "Harry Hamburg/NY Daily News Archive via Getty Images".

Appreciate! Finally at that stage in the building process to be able to enjoy the trial and error of super detailing. Much harder than I thought. 😀

I have to say, I have been stunned and amazed, truly, at the number of voices who have sent me "Likes" for the photos of me at my football and trains interests, as a boy. I figured I'd likely be amusing to some and tolerated by most for such self-indulgence in sentimentality. It's just that my childhood was a personal treasure for me, and all of that was somehow along the railroad tracks of life that have led me right to here, happy to have made it this far and in a hobby that includes a whole lot of very nice people, among whom have beenthese voices who sent me those Likes:
Briansilvermustang; PRRronbh; Alex M; Lou N; trumptrain; Rich Battista; Dave NYC Hudson PRR K4; Mike McCutcheon; Diverging Clear; jcovert; alibatwomble; bigtruckpete; Steamer; Henry J; N5CJonny; trainsrob.
Exceptional of each of you to be so tolerant and accepting of my sentimental indulgence with those photos. It has been great fun to receive the surprise of your approval.

I find your layout pictures so interesting, wishing I was there. And the pictures of you and your friends takes me back to the late 40's and early 50's.
Ron
That's exactly the circa, Ron.
Thanks for the reach-back and for so nicely saying how you like my layout.

Great photo!
I wish your layout was closer to where I live, the downtown deco structures are right up my alley. Would be great to see in person
