I have to repeat a remark made by another member on your layout. I can't come up with any better compliment than this.
"Alan, that's not a layout, that's a museum!! "
Mike Caruso started a thread this week about 21" passenger cars and curve radius used by the members. Here is a photo of the CZ on 0-72s.
Walt, really nice photo.
A couple of weeks ago I paid a visit to Henning’s Train Shop in Lansdale, PA, where I picked up a couple of cars. (I like the cars, Bill! Very nice! (Shameless plug&hellip) Afterwards, I decided to check out the old Reading station in the center of town. As I got closer, I could see the once common silhouette of an ALCO Century cab. I was immediately intrigued and wondered who owned it. But when I entered the nearby parking lot, I realized that something was definitely wrong. Check this out. Not exactly Century, much less an ALCO!
It turns out the engine is owned by the Pennsylvania Northeastern Railroad, a relatively new regional short line. The unit was purchased from the Canadian National, who had rebuilt it from an EMD GP9. (And you thought kitbashes were only done south of the border. NOT!)

How bout some weekend "Video Fun"? Some Santa Fe action....
Laidoffsick; great video.
What a great video Doug - Those Yellowbonnets are spectacular! Nice consist too...
Your layout has really come together, lots of color. Fantastic!
Here is a picture of a new atlaso trainman chessie system ext. view caboose. I bought a couple days ago to go with my atlas chessie gp15T engine.
Nice pics and videos folks. Here are a few shots from our layout this morning running trains with my son. We did pick up a new/ used Weaver RS3 engine marked for the L&N RR. My son and I seen that and we renamed it the Liam & Nick. It has nothing to do with our BNSF world but sometimes you just need to color outside the lines. Nick

Well said. Alan's layout certainly is impressive. Quite an impressive looking collection of rolling stock.

I would second that, one remarkable layout. Nick

Love the bridge/s. Actually the whole layout is outstanding. I do envy the yellow/silver Santa Fe. I know Williams made a set a few years ago but are hard to find too. Nick
Canadian National SD70M units heading east with grain hoppers. Boston Metro Hi-Railers.
It feels like a very very Southern day, from beginning to end.
laidoffsick:
Just a beautiful layout and a super video of the Yellow Warbonnets.
Thanks so much guys for the compliments on my layout. Slowly but surely I am making progress and am now down to the detailing and scenery level. My first few trees were a failure in that the adhesive I used didn't work....all the "leaves" fell off!! But, soon there will be more "green" to help bring life! I received my Ballast King recently so ballasting will be going more quickly. So much to do.....

Laidoffsick- Your SC looks better than mine, must be that it is running. I had to watch the video more than once. The yellow bonnets look great!
Oh the humanity!

Thought I'd share a photo of the transfer table with a UP genset going for a ride.
Some new road transport, all from the James Bond collection. James Oop's not the trolley or Fat controller.

Bill,
I always like your photos of the Seattle and Yakima. However the name screams Pacific Northwest! Please enlighten me on the Statue of Liberty near the Drive In.
Thank you.
