Sorry Scott I was restless. Not quite a photo but the 8510 is one of my York picks. 2 powered units in the front, 1 mid train (dummy) and a powered unit as a pusher at the rear.
Love those Legacy MUs.

More from the boy detective Tin-Tin range of transport.
It is interesting to see British and/or European Items on the board. Even boy detective Tin Tin unit.
Newest Postwar pickup -
Running some late '50s stuff on the layout -
Here are some shots from around the layout
An RS1 pulls through the edge of the yard
Fall has arrived in the mountains but a couple of folks are still on the water
Right-click these to see the details.
There is a sunbather on the rocks to the right as well as the boat at the head of the falls... (Not to worry - the boat is tethered)
Talking over a (case of) coke
One of this years offerings from Menards
Earlier this week I posted a photo of my great York find...a Lehigh Valley non-powered C-420 unit to add to my consist of 3 powered LV ALCo C-420's. Here are a few more views of the same consist. I'm a Pennsy guy, but these bright red units sure stand out from the dark green backdrop a lot better than the brunswick green PRR units!
Here is a new MTH Premier B&O GP35 Engine With PS3 Sounds. I got this engine yesterday very nice engine.
I decided to splurge to try and make this an interesting harvest photograph--I bought the pumpkins and sunflowers from Scenic Express. The Arttista figurines should be of little boys, the original Boo Brothers, but I don’t own any and didn’t want to get carried away. Happy Halloween everyone.
Starting on creating 2013 Christmas layout memories
I spend the first 2 weeks putting 95% of the wiring in place since I will land up covering it up with the Homasote. Takes a lot of planning but it works.
That 'missing' square will eventually have the underlaying blueboard and Homasote but I left it open since I was doing a lot of kneeling there and many wires run thru it.

Was able to get 8099 this past Monday leading 337 - just enough light left to squeeze off a shot -
att: walt rapp... are you setting up display for tinplate this year?

I may not be going to York but did actually do a short run time on my very small 5x7 board I do not use the word layout since it will be part of one someday. Houses and cars on it just for fun and it was only for 15 mins since I have not been home for a month well it was Bangor and Aroostook day, I bought a new never opened 1976 Bangor and Aroostook GP and hack set off ebay a few weeks ago to give my Williams BL2 some company. I did also run my LIRR Railking RS-1 and K-line hack. To bad the K-line Plymouth pic did not come out love that lil engine. Sorry about the iphone picture quality.

Now this shot is amazing. It relaxes the mind yet portrays a "buzzy" station element. Thanks Leaving Tracks.
Reminds me of the time I was at the St. Louis train station / mall, simply astonishing.
And I have not posted on in a while ... how about these:
Thanks J Daddy for the compliment!! The train shed at St. Louis is my favorite so your statement above means a lot to me!

Even though Dragon Cement is still under construction, it is able to produce product and requires car loads in and empties out (at least in my imagination). A pair of Atlas MEC SW's handles today's chores.

I'm building my 2013 Christmas layout as I would have done for any other year when I ran my 9 Railking trains. Same everything except that there will be only 2 trains and they will be tin-plate.
thanks for asking

We need some Thursday at Friday's pics!
Rail King Conrail C30-7
Atlas Santa Fe GP-60s. The Texas Special E-7s and Soo F-7 are both from Williams.

Cape Cod, Is that one of the new line of bridges - in the background in this photo - from Rich Roman (East Coast Enterprise) ? It sure looks good; plus, the patina from the natural material utilized looks great. You've placed it to maximum effect, too.
Real nice.

Walt - In time you will have many more Tinplate Trains on your layout.
Patrick- Looks Super.
