Went out to Pomona today to see what was going on with the 4014.
They got the 3450 all shined up and was blowing the whistle. Man it sounds good!

Great shots guys. Here's one from a different part of the old layout. The R.O.W. D&H PA's are traversing the viaduct and if you look closely you can see a liquor deal going down in the shadow of the engine house in the lower right corner.
Johan, yes I have a pair of MTH Virginian EL-C rectifiers. They earn their keep when I'm running Pocahontas Region railroads.
Here is a video of my new k-line C&O reefer car.
Update on my new layout...all buildings wired, signals lighted, track finalized, etc. 15 pounds of ballast ordered. Coming along but not rushing it. Testing, tweaking and fine-tuning of track continues before ballasting. I do not want the "roller coaster" track work like the previous layout with ups and downs, dips, kinks, low joints, and more that caused major headaches.
All buildings in finalized positions. Silver water tower at front left corner will not stay.
I made some flat car loads for my Army train...
Thanks to forum member Brian Wowak for customizing my Lionel M1b, K4, and NKP 779. Work was done timely and the results were great.
Thanks, Brian.
Great to see them back together, and glad you're happy with the results. They look great together!
Thanks for customizing my LIONEL Reading T-1, Brian. The white flags are the crowning touch.
You're going to need one of my improved smokebox fronts once I get those rolling.
