All the Christmas trains are packed and down the Science Museum of VA for this weekend’s show......track cleaning today.....
This cleaning car works reasonably well....but nothing beats elbow grease with a Bright Boy block or a rag with some isopropyl alcohol.

Had a seat this morning (cold, cold, cold) in the TV Zone for the Chicago Thankgivings Day Parade...so all of the acts perform right there and the floats and balloons pass by too!!! One of interest here, might be the new Canadian Pacific float named “The Little General”...Diesel Engine...Dome Car...and Caboose. From where I was sitting...that horn sounded like the real deal?!?!? Had a great time...
Of coarse, pretty sure that Santa is the real deal too...just sayin...🎅🏻
Am gradually getting settled in the new digs and set a 7' stretch of track down to hear some sound and make some smoke!

Not a photo, but here is my new K-line Tank Engine. It was tested the evening before Thanksgiving on the club layout.
Some time ago I acquired a nice set of K-Line aluminum UP cars from a Forum member who had added LED lighting, extra passengers, and a scale coupler to the rear. Have been looking for a suitable locomotive to pull them since and a few months ago picked up these nice Lionel UP F3's. I have the Lionel Alco PA's but the yellow is much brighter and the trucks are silver. The color is close with the F3 engines being only slightly 'brighter' in hue but are close enough to look proper.
Looking forward to running them on the club layout sometime soon

Less than 2 hours to showtime! The Science Museum goes all out on advertising this weekend’s event.....it is their biggest recruiting days for family memberships and biggest days for attendance......

Now that's pretty neat. There was a glimpse of it on the local news yesterday evening.

Happy Weekend Everyone. Last week Shark Bay R.R. modular layout visit International Model Railway Exhibition in Cologne Germany. The place was huge and there was a tons some nice layouts and manufacturers many different countries. Near fair place you can see also Rhine river with beautiful railroad bridges & Cologne cathedral. https://www.modellbahn-koeln.de/en/info/news/
Last year I got an inexpensive action camera ($25) at Wally World. I finally broke it out and gave it a whirl on the upper level. Its definitely a $25 camera, but for my purposes, it gets the job done.
I'm working out the bugs, and will have video of the whole layout soon. I made the mount on an extra set of trucks I had, and pushed it with my GP-9.
Nice little run around MO! you think about it maybe you could post some updated above the layout pictures to show the whole room! LOL
